Caer Catena

Caer Catena, proud ally of Caer Trandiok, is poised on the highest point of Catena Island, carved into the top of Catena Peak on the northern end of the island. The weather is warm but mild, with chill winters only in the highest elevations.

To get to the Entrance Hall from the main road, which ends when the mountainside becomes too steep for efficient foot or animal traffic, one must endure a nearly-vertical flight of almost a mile. At such heights, the air is crisp and chilly and the winds can be harrowing, but the hall itself is sheltered from the elements. Transport duty is rotated between fighting dragons and their bonds.

The Caer's staff and riders are always around to help a confused visitor out, and the Caerlady will gladly answer any of your questions about the Caer.
