Vegliante Cove lies sprawled along the Fiore coastline, on the southeast side of the island. Its tunnels spread for many miles to the northeast and southwest, some delving deep into the continental shelf, and many opening directly into the ocean depths. Once bustling like a roiling waterfall, it is now quiet and still like the depths of a dead lake. Its keepers and occupants have abandoned it to the mercy of the ocean's hunger.

Catena Island is part of the World of Alskyr and is no way related to any other written works. Alskyr is an originally created world, and is not a derivative of, nor should it be confused with, any published works of science or fantasy fiction.
